Founded in the Netherlands in 1952, Heras provides mobile and permanent perimeter protection systems, products and services.

The business supplies products such as fencing systems, manual and automated gates, hostile vehicle mitigation barriers and electronic perimeter detection products to its end customers including construction companies, public authorities, distributors, wholesalers, installers, event organisers and rental companies.

Heras offers medium- to high-security permanent perimeter solutions used in applications ranging from border control, military bases and critical infrastructure through to schools and hospitals. The company’s mobile perimeter protection products are primarily used to secure construction sites and major events.

Its comprehensive product portfolio can be tailored to each customer’s specifications and supplemented with services such as installation, system integration, maintenance and repair.

Heras employs over 1,100 people across its sales and production facilities in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Sweden and the UK as well as further sales offices in Norway and Germany.
