TLD Group specialises in the manufacturing of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for the aviation sector, including jet starters, aircraft tractors & loaders, ground power units.

Through its Adhetec subsidiary, TLD also has an adhesive products business primarily for the aviation, electronics, automotive and railroad industries.

TLD is one of the few global manufacturers of GSE that offers its customers a range of equipment: aircraft jet starters, air conditioners and ground power units. Conventional and towbarless aircraft tractors for pushback and towing operations. Cargo loaders and transporters. Baggage tractors and belt loaders for cargo bay loading. Aircraft passenger stairs. Catering trucks and water & lavatory service vehicles.

TLD's strategy consists of gaining market share thanks to its industrial strength, and possibly extending its product range with acquisitions. In 2008, TLD acquired SAGE, a US-based company operating in the spare parts and maintenance services to GSE. Mainly based in North America, SAGE has strong perspectives in Europe and Asia.
