Groupe Zannier

The Zannier business is a European leader in the creation, design, sourcing and distribution of children’s clothing.

It has 13 retail brands including Catimini, IKKS and Z and a range of well-known character licences. Group turnover is in excess of €574m.

In December 2002 Equistone participated in the financing of the public to private management buyout of Groupe Zannier at a gross valuation of €629m.

THE EXIT

The existing management team, together with Roger Zannier’s children, completed a secondary management buyout of the business. This transaction gave Equistone the opportunity to exit.
