VALUE CREATION

Since 2004, The Original Factory Shop has increased its number of outlets from 54 to 84. In 2005, George Foster, former Chief Executive of TJ Hughes, was appointed CEO of The Original Factory Shop. He introduced a broader team and doubled warehouse capacity.

THE EXIT

The Original Factory Shop was sold to Duke Street Capital in a £68.5m secondary management buyout. The sale delivered a money multiple of 2.4 times and an IRR of 35%.
